At the 4th Turkish Aligner Society Congress, held in Çeşme on September 20–22, I had the opportunity to share my presentation titled “Treatment of Extraction Cases with Aligners,” a topic I have been working on for a long time and one that holds a special place in my clinical practice.
This presentation felt a little different for me. During the preparation process, revisiting cases I had treated over the years, repeatedly comparing my own clinical experience with the current literature, and pursuing the question, “How can we make this more predictable?” was just as educational as the presentation itself.
The questions raised during the presentation, the conversations that continued afterward, and the opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues were among the most valuable parts of the congress for me.
I would like to sincerely thank @alignerdernegi for creating such a valuable scientific environment, everyone who contributed to the organization, and all my colleagues who attended my presentation.
And if I were to leave just one sentence from the presentation behind:
“Don’t try to correct tipping after it occurs; anticipate it and plan for it from the beginning.”
